John Kuranz

Mr.
Kuranz, CEO of Database Access Group, LLC, as an entrepreneurial COO and CEO has
a proven ability to effectively manage operations through times of change,
particularly during start-up or turnaround phase. He brings 25 years of
electronic publishing and distribution and most recently Internet applications
in the research arena.
Formerly
President of FIND/SVP Published Products, Inc., a publisher of syndicated
healthcare and consumer product market research. Mr. Kuranz managed a 40-person
organization with responsibilities encompassing strategic planning through cost
control to ensure continued profits. As an officer of the company, Mr. Kuranz
acquired independent publishers, negotiated licensing agreements, led corporate
Internet initiates and divested the company of unprofitable operations. Mr.
Kuranz was instrumental in negotiating the sale of this unit to private
investors. Before his tenure at FIND/SVP, Mr. Kuranz was Founder and President
of Management Contents, LLC, a leading edge publishing company that developed
the Management Contents Database, The Computer Database, Legal Contents and The
Business Index. These product lines were developed and marketed to senior level
management and research analyst. He profitably sold this operation to Ziff Davis
Publishing and continued on as a Senior consultant. In his early career, he
worked as senior research analyst and MIS program director for a multi-national
pharmaceutical company. Mr. Kuranz has a Bachelors of Science Degree in
Biochemistry from Texas A&M/ St. Mary's College and an MBA from Northern
Illinois University.
Dennis Auld

Dennis Auld, President
of Database Access Group, LLC, also has over 25 years of experience in all
phases of database companies, from . Recently Auld was CEO of e-psyche, LLC, and
President of e-NICEM.COM. He has served as a consultant in the field of
electronic publishing and database management after serving as Senior
Consultant, PsycINFO. Formerly Auld held the position of Senior Director,
PsycINFO, a division of the American Psychological Association. Prior to
joining PsycINFO in 1990, he was President of UMI/Data Courier from 1983 and had
held several positions in product development and administration with that
organization since 1974. Mr. Auld was a co-founder of the ABI/INFORM database,
and also directed the development of the Business Dateline database, both
currently University Microfilms International products. He has served with many
information industry organizations including President, ASIDIC; President, NFAIS;
Chair of the Marketing Sub-Committee, ICSTI; a member of the joint NFAIS/AAP-PSP
working group; and a member of the Publishing and Small Business Committee of
the IIA. Mr. Auld has served as program chair for several conferences for NFAIS
and ASIDIC. He has a BS Degree in Economics from the University of Oregon, and a
Masters of Business Administration Degree from Portland State University.
